What Zootopia holds, how the safari bus ride works, what Lost Valley adds and how animals fit into a day at the Yongin theme park.

Zootopia is the animal zone. Wikipedia lists birds, giant pandas, sea lions, penguins, bears, lions, tigers and primates, and VisitKorea describes Safari World as a safari with predators such as lions and tigers. Visitors ride a safari bus and stay on it. Lost Valley is a separate safari-style ride for herbivores.
What Zootopia is
Wikipedia describes Zootopia as an animal-themed zone with a small zoo. It lists birds, giant pandas, sea lions, penguins, bears, lions, tigers and primates among the animals. Two rides sit inside it: a safari bus ride and the Amazon Express raft ride. Because the animal zone is part of the same park as the roller coasters, a visit can mix both, and the guide to the five zones covers the rest.

Safari World
VisitKorea describes Safari World as an immersive safari with predators such as lions and tigers. Wikipedia says the Zootopia safari bus ride lets visitors watch ligers and bears in a contained habitat, and that visitors stay on the bus throughout. That rule is the point of the design: the animals move freely on one side of the glass and you stay inside. The photograph above shows the same idea from a visitor's side: a tiger on a log, seen through glass.
Lost Valley
VisitKorea lists Lost Valley as a safari-style ride where you can see herbivores up close. It is a separate ride from Safari World, so a visit can include both, one after the other. The two offer different kinds of animal, with predators in one and plant-eaters in the other. VisitKorea lists both among the park's must-ride attractions, so check the park's current rules for each before you plan around them.
A safari tradition that predates the name
Wikipedia's history of the park says it opened on 18 April 1976 as Yongin Farmland and was renamed Everland in 1996. It also says the park was the first in East Asia to offer a safari with free-ranging lions. Later safaris followed, according to the same article: a tiger safari in 1980, a bear safari in 1990 and a herbivore safari in 2010. The animals have always been part of the park's character, which explains why a theme park holds a zoo.
The Amazon Express
The Amazon Express is a raft ride in Zootopia. Wikipedia says it splashes most riders. VisitKorea describes it as a river rapids ride through a jungle-themed course. If you plan to ride it, dress for a wet seat and expect to leave a little damp. It is a ride, not an animal exhibit, so it suits visitors who want a thrill between the safari rides and Panda World.
Who this isn't for
If you object to animals living in captivity, a park built around a zoo will not suit you, and no ticket changes that. If you want a guaranteed sighting of any one animal, remember that animals move as they please. And if your party includes someone who cannot ride the raft or the safari vehicles, check the park's current rules for each ride before you plan the day around them.
